Reports are surfacing today that former PrideFC fighter Denis Kang has signed a contract with K-1 Heros and will be fighting Kazushi Sakuraba on September 17th in Japan.

Earlier this month MMANews.com interviewed Kang and asked him about his future plans. Kang didn’t give any specifics but alluded to the fact that he would be fighting in September and an announcement would be coming soon.
Has one of the best of the remaining PrideFC free agents signed with K-1? A match between Kang and Sakuraba really seems like a joke, but K-1 does have Saku under contract and really doesn’t have any other “big” names for someone like Kang to fight.
