Metric system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Excellent. Just the countries we want to be associated with.
I’m not going to go into a full-blown metric system rant here, but it is SO RIDICULOUS that we don’t use the metric system like the rest of the civilized world.
We even have to learn English to Metric conversion charts and tables in school. Why not just skip the stupid conversions and use Metric like everyone else in the world and scientific community.
Even the UK, where the English units of measurement were created, have started using the Metric system as was required for entrance into the EU. This was in the 1970’s, not that long ago. It’s easy and possible to change over.
