MMA HQ Top Ten Rankings

MMA HQ Top Ten Rankings

Well, after much waiting and a lot of development on my part, the MMA HQ Top Ten Rankings site is finally ready for beta testing. Those of you who are regulars here at MMA HQ are going to get the first crack at the site. You can find the new MMA Rankings site at www.mmahq.net

I’m pretty excited about this site and I think you will be too. There are close to a dozen MMA websites out there today who put out their own top ten rankings every few weeks. Every time the rankings are released MMA fans all over the internet complain about how bad the rankings are.

Well, now is the time to quit complaining and change all that. Go to mmahq.net and vote for who you think are the top ten fighters in each weightclass. Everyone has a vote and everyone has equal chance at determining the TRUE MMA top ten rankings. It’s a well known fact that the more input you have, the more accurate the results will be. The more MMA fans signup and vote, the more accurate the rankings will be.

The hope is to get our rankings, the rankings of MMA fans, be recognized as the best rankings on the internet and each and every MMA fan can be a part of that. You don’t have to be an editor or contributor of your own MMA site to make rankings - now everyone has a voice. I’ve already entered the rankings from Sherdog, MMAWeekly, IrishWhip, 411Mania, FiveOuncesOfPain and, of course, my own rankings and it’s pretty interesting to see the overall results.

At mmahq.net, rankings will take place over two week periods. The first week will be when you can actually vote, and then those rankings will stand for the next week. When that 14 day period is over, the voting will be opened again and the everyone can vote. You can also post messages and have discussions with other voters on each fighter on the site. Don’t think someone should be ranked who is ranked? Post a message and see why people are voting for him.

So, signup and use the site. I’m hoping you guys who are my regular readers here at MMA HQ will get on board and “test” the site out for me. I’m sure there are some bugs on the site and some things that just don’t work quite right or just don’t make sense. Leave a comment here or send me an email and let me know any questions or problems you find for the site. Also email me any ideas or suggestions you have that would make the site better. Once everything seems to be going well, then its time for you guys to help me spread the word on all the other MMA sites and get tons of people to join.

But most of all, make sure to vote. Once a few thousand MMA fans start voting on the rankings, we will all have a better sense of who the real top ten are in each weightclass.
